Dr. Donald S. Marks, M.D., Neurologist
Dr. Marks is a member of the medical staff at the Beth Israel Lahey Health Hospital (BILH)- Plymouth and Nantucket Cottage Hospital. He serves as the Medical Director for the Division of Neurology at the BILH-Plymouth. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at the Tufts School of Medicine. For over 25 years, Dr. Marks has focused on the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, specifically in the areas of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. As a community neurologist, he also sees patients with a variety of neurological disorders. Since the 1990s, Dr. Marks has been involved in medical research with various pharmaceutical and imaging companies. 





Rosalind Mandelbaum, PA-C, Physician Assistant
Rosalind received her Master of Science from Northeastern University. She completed her undergraduate work at Mount Holyoke College in psychology and chemistry. Her prior professional experience includes rehabilitation, imaging and pharmaceutical research with Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and ALS. She has a particular interest in movement disorders and her work on multiple sclerosis and salsa dance won an award for innovative research at the American Academy of Neurology in Neural Repair and Neurorehabilitation. She is the primary inventor of a patent device called the, "Stability Ring," which provides support during functional exercise movement. She is currently the sub-investigator on the Alzheimer's clinical trials in our office. 


Elizabeth "Lizzy" Karas, PA-C, Physician Assistant

Lizzy completed her Master of Science at Tufts University. As an undergraduate, she studied health policy and management as well as Spanish at Providence College. Prior to her graduate studies, she worked in hospital administration and as a nursing assistant in Boston. During PA school, she completed her outpatient medicine selective in neurology with Rosalind and Dr. Marks, and is being trained as a study coordinator in their ongoing clinical trials. ​​​​​​​

Dante, Certified Therapy Dog 
Dante is a 6- year old hypoallergenic Maltese/Yorkie (morkie) dog who is a certified therapist through TDI International. He has also completed agility and good canine citizen trainings with his owner Rosalind. He enjoys long walks, being pet and working in our clinic. You may see him periodically with Rosalind... don't be afraid to say hello!
